For CustomersSoundboard provides services that allow customers to manage various aspects of their business and finances online. This may include bookkeeping, financial reporting, and tax preparation. In order to provide these services, we may be required to collect basic identification information including your name, location, company name, and email address when registering for a new account. When registering, or when purchasing a subscription from Soundboard, we may also be required to collect billing and financial information. This may include billing name, address, and relevant billing information. To perform the Services laid out in the Terms of Use, you may be asked to share necessary information, documents, and forms to enable us to provide bookkeeping, reporting, and tax filing services on your behalf. This includes, but is not limited to, tax identification numbers, tax returns, business financial information, and personal financial information (if applicable).For Website VisitorsSoundboard collects information via cookies and Web beacons ("Website Navigational Information"). Website Navigational Information includes standard information from your Web browser (such as browser type and browser language), your Internet Protocol ("IP") address, and the actions you take on the Company's Websites (such as the Web pages viewed, and the links clicked).2. For example, we collect IP addresses to track and aggregate non-PII, such as using IP addresses to allow us to identify the regions from which users navigate to our Services.Soundboard may also collect IP addresses from users when they log into the Services as part of our log-in and security features.3.4 Third-party disclosure and Third-party linkWe do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer (to outside parties not listed in this privacy policy), your personally identifiable information.Occasionally, at our discretion, we may include or offer third-party products or services on our website. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our site and welcome any feedback about these sites.3.5 Conversion TrackingWe use third party services Google Adsense Advertising, Meta (Facebook), and LinkedIn Ads. These services allow us to track and analyze our ad usage across platforms through the use of pixel tags and 3rd-party cookies, enabling us to optimize and display advertising content to meet you and our needs. In order to do so, these services place cookies and/or tracking pixels when interacting with an ad that leads to our site.If you visit parts of our website, and the cookie/tracking pixel are valid, these services may be alerted that you were directed to that page through one of our ads. If you are not a LinkedIn member, you can opt out from this tracking through here: https://www.linkedin.com/psettings/guest-controls3.6.3 Meta (Facebook)As a Facebook user, you can opt out of this tracking by the Facebook/Meta pixel. To do so, you can toggle the "Data about your activity from partners" option in the settings for Facebook ads when you are logged into your account.3.7 Social MediaSoundboard utilizes social media in its marketing and advertising. When you interact with Soundboard related social media content, for example, "liking" content on our Facebook page, such interaction may allow us to collect your IP address or the page you are visiting from. Cookies may also be enables to allow various features to function properly. Interactions on social media are subject to the privacy policy of the social media service provider.4. How we share information
4.1 Sub-ProcessorsIn order to allow services on our behalf, Soundboard may share data about visitors and customers with our contracted service providers. Service providers are only authorized to use PII necessary to complete the services requested. Soundboard may also share Data about Soundboard Visitors and Customers with the Company's service providers or partners to ensure information quality, and with third–party social networking and media Web sites, for marketing and advertising on said sites. 4.2 Use of SubcontractorsSoundboard may engage subcontractors, including outsourced bookkeepers, accountants, and CPAs, to perform various elements of our Services. These subcontractors may have access to customers' Personally Identifiable Information (PII) strictly for the purpose of delivering the services agreed upon. Subcontractors are granted access to only the necessary PII to perform their assigned tasks effectively.All subcontractors are required to sign confidentiality agreements and are bound by data protection agreements that comply with applicable laws and regulations. They are obligated to maintain the confidentiality and security of PII and to use it only as needed to perform their duties. Soundboard ensures that subcontractors comply with our privacy and data protection standards through regular monitoring and compliance checks. Any subcontractor found to be in breach of these agreements will be subject to immediate termination of their contract.Subcontractors are not permitted to use PII for any purpose other than providing the agreed-upon services. They are not authorized to share, sell, or trade this information.4.3 Partners and AffiliatesSoundboard maintains various partner and affiliate relationships in order to offer joint products, services, offers, and functionality. If you choose to opt into integration or use of these joint offerings through Soundboard or our partners/affiliates, Soundboard may share or collect information regarding your interest of said offerings or services. The information that is collected will not be used for serving ads, including retargeting, personalized, or Internet-based advertising. Any data collected from third parties or affiliates, will be anonymized and aggregated and will be limited to internal operations. Data will not be read by humans unless it is required to comply with an applicable law or if it is necessary for security purposes. If you do not want your information shared with Soundboard partners and affiliates, you may choose to not opt into their specific integrations, services, offers or any other interaction.4.4 Events and CollaborationsWhen you attend in person or online events hosted by Soundboard (such as webinars, conferences, etc.) or participate in a giveaway, contest or promotion for which Soundboard is sponsoring, we may collect and share your information. Examples include if you submit your name and contact for collection in order to win a prize, or to receive an invite to a meetup. When you do this, your information will be subject to the privacy statements of all parties involved.4.5 Billing InformationSoundboard uses third parties in regard to payment processing. All transactions are processed through a gateway provider and are not stored or processed on our servers. These payment processors may not use your PII for any reason outside processing your credit card information for the intended services.4.6 Compelled DisclosureSoundboard may be required to disclose PII in response to lawful requests by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements.5. Communication Subscription Settings
Soundboard allows you to "unsubscribe" from email communications, via a link at the bottom of all company related emails. You may also unsubscribe by contacting us at admin@joinsoundboard.com at any time.5.1 CAN SPAM ActThe CAN-SPAM Act is a law that sets the rules for commercial email, establishes requirements for commercial messages, gives recipients the right to have emails stopped from being sent to them, and spells out tough penalties for violations.If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, you can email us at: admin@joinsoundboard.com and we will promptly remove you from all correspondence.6. Security
Our website is scanned on a regular basis for security holes and known vulnerabilities in order to make your visit to our site as safe as possible. Your PII is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems and are required to keep the information confidential. In addition, all sensitive/credit information you supply is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.We take reasonable and appropriate measures to protect PII from loss, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction, considering the risks involved in the processing and the nature of the PII.Soundboard accounts require a username and password to log in. You must keep your username and password secure, and never disclose it to a third party. Because the information in your account is highly sensitive, account passwords are encrypted, which means we cannot see your passwords. We cannot resend forgotten passwords. We will only reset them.6.1 Data Entered by our CustomersWhen you use our Services, you may import PII into our system that you have collected from clients, contractors, service providers, or other individuals. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have obtained the necessary permissions to collect and allow us to process information about those individuals.We will retain PII we process on behalf of our Customers for as long as needed to provide our Services or to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and enforce our agreements.6.2 COPPA (Children Online Privacy Protection Act)Regarding the collection of PII from children under 13, the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) puts parents in control. The Federal Trade Commission, the nation's consumer protection agency, enforces the COPPA Rule, which spells out what operators of websites and online services must do to protect children's privacy and safety online. We do not specifically market to children under 13.6.3 Children's PrivacyThe Soundboard website and the Services offerings are not intended for children under 13 years of age, and Soundboard does not knowingly collect PII directly from children under the age of 13. This includes browsing the Soundboard website, creating accounts, or using the Services. If Soundboard learns that it has received any PII from an individual using our Services or a visitor to Soundboard who is under the age of 13, then we will take appropriate action to delete that information.6.4 Fair Information PracticesThe Fair Information Practices Principles form the backbone of privacy law in the United States and the concepts they include have played a significant role in the development of data protection laws around the globe. Understanding the Fair Information Practice Principles and how they should be implemented is critical to comply with the various privacy laws that protect PII.In order to be in line with Fair Information Practices as well as GDPR regulations we will take the following responsive action, should a data breach occur, we will notify the users via email within 7 business days.We also agree to the Individual Redress Principle and GDPR, which requires that individuals have a right to pursue legally enforceable rights against data collectors and processors who fail to adhere to the law. Soundboard reserves the right to maintain your information for the length of time necessary to carry out intended services. When you close your account, we may continue to communicate with you about our Services, give you important business updates that may affect you, and let you know about products and services that may interest you, unless you have opted out of receiving marketing communications.8. Data Correction, Access and Retention
We will provide you with access to any PII we hold about you within 30 days of your request. You may request to access, correct, amend, or delete information we hold about you by contacting us at admin@joinsoundboard.com. Unless prohibited by law, we will remove any PII about you or any PII associated with your account from our servers at your request. In most cases, you can correct and amend your PII by making changes directly within your account.When you close your account, we will retain your PII for as long as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. After this period, we will delete or anonymize your PII, unless we are required to keep it for legitimate business purposes or legal obligations. You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at admin@joinsoundboard.com. We will honor your request within 30 days, subject to any legal obligations or legitimate business purposes that require us to retain certain information.9. Legal Compliance

This includes, but is not limited to, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), and other relevant state and international privacy laws.
